With news reports from local government agencies up and down California, and from the capital itself, of poor fiscal management, the need to lay off large number of critical staffing, and in some cases, the entire disbandment of city police departments, Placer County stands a top with a well balanced budget and a strong dedicated workforce delivering high quality services to its residents.
First elected to the Placer County Board of Supervisors in the 1992 election, Uhler started his service as a county Supervisor to combat the overspending and fiscal mis-management of previous boards. In 2006 Uhler was appointed back to the Board, and again re-elected in 2008, to continue the same objective he had when first elected, to ensure strong fiscal management of Placer County taxpayer money while still ensuring the highest level of resident services.
